High strength effective foam treatment for male pattern hair loss containing 5% Minoxidil.
Regaine Extra Strength Foam contains minoxidil 5%, the same licensed active ingredient as Regaine Solution, in a quick-drying foam base. It's thought to work by prolonging the growth phase of scalp hair follicles and improving blood flow to the scalp, helping slow further hair loss and encourage regrowth in some men.
As with the solution, results take time to appear — allow at least 3-4 months of consistent daily use before judging whether it's working for you.
Apply to a dry scalp twice a day, morning and evening.
The foam is generally well tolerated, and some men find it less irritating than the solution because it doesn't contain propylene glycol.
Stop use and contact your prescriber if you notice chest pain, a fast or irregular heartbeat, unexplained weight gain, or swelling of the hands or feet.
